What does git stash drop do?
The Git stash drop command seems to be a bit of an enigma. It's typically used as the means to record a current changeset without interacting with the stash list. This interaction is often through the use of a git stash save command. Alternately, one may interact with the stash list when using git stash pop. But it can be really useful if you want to unwind work on multiple branches without having to specify each branch you want to discard.
